Teach na Failte has now begun offering stress relief courses in the Derry area in partnership with CALMS' Gateways to Hope project. Teach na Failte is a partner of the Gateway Services International and has been working with other ex-prisoner groups in the North West area and have been developing projects aimed at peace building and mutual understanding. The services on offer from CALMS include counselling, stress management programmes, listening ear (direct and by phone), advice and befriending and management of anxiety. CALMS also offer complimentary therapies such as reflexology, aromatherapy, indian head massage, swedish massage and reiki. These services take place in both the CALMS offices in Derry city centre and at the White Oaks Centre in Donegal as well as at the new Teach na Failte Counselling and Therapy Centre in Derry. These services are available to all Republican Socialist former combatants, former political prisoners and their families.
